4th of July Yard Signs Available Again This Year

The City of Gearhart’s elected officials, staff, and citizens want everyone to enjoy this July 4th. We encourage you to enjoy the safe and free firework shows starting at 10 PM on July 4th in the cities of Seaside and Astoria. While celebrating in our city, please be safe and courteous to people, pets, and our environment.

To help spread the message of a “safe, courteous, and clean 4th of July” the City has a limited number of yard signs available at City Hall again this year. We began handing them out yesterday at the community 4th of July planning meeting that was held at Trail’s End Park / Centennial Garden.

As stated, quantities are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.

There is a suggested donation of $5 to go toward current and future year’s signage, and post-4th of July trash collection clean up efforts being organized by members of the City Council, members of the Gearhart Association, and Gearhart residents.

Please DO NOT call City Hall and ask to have a sign held in your name. If you would like one, come on over to City Hall during normal business hours 8a – noon / 1p – 5p. Grab one for your friend or neighbor! They will be available until gone.
