FINAL Fire Station Guided Field Trip TOMORROW!


Saturday, April 27th at Noon marks our last New Station Guided Field Trip with committee members and city staff! This is a fun loop around Gearhart starting at the current fire station location, discussing each station location concept while on site. There will also be surveys available to fill out. Weather is going to be great! Please bring your walking shoes and let’s go for a walk and learn all the facts about the 3 locations!

TOMORROW: Happy Hour w/ The Mayor

Please come by City Hall tomorrow! The Mayor will be hosting a special April Happy Hour with The Mayor from 3-4p! With the April 29th survey deadline fast approaching, he will have fire station surveys available to fill out. There will also be members of our Fire Station Committee and city staff to answer any questions you may have.

Weekend Reminders! Gearhart Clean Up Day & Guided Fire Station Tour

Pacific Way will be a busy spot TOMORROW!

Saturday, April 20th is Earth Day! Gearhart is holding its annual “Clean Up Day” at City Hall from 8-11. THE BINS FILL UP FAST!!! HERE is a link to more information!SKM_C45819031208470 

An hour later, folks will be gathering next door at the Gearhart Volunteer Fire Department for another Fire Station Location Guided Tour. Walk through the current station first before heading west to visit both the Park Station and High Point location options.SKM_C45819032209510a

Weather looks to be decent. Regardless, you’re welcome to travel by foot or car. Hope to see you at noon!

We have seen an increase in folks returning surveys. THANK YOU! There is still time to mail it in, drop it off, or complete it online. The deadline is Monday, April 29th. We have a goal of 1000 surveys and are almost there! However, every resident is encouraged to turn one in and let their opinion be known. If your spouse completed a survey for your household and you aren’t sure if both of your names were listed, EMAIL OR CALL US so we can update results! 503-738-5501 or webmail here.

Attending a guided tour is a great way to learn more, ask questions, and help you complete the survey. The last tour is set for next Saturday, April 27th.


Fire Station Location Guided Tour Reminder

Happy Friday!

A reminder the next fire station location guided tour will be TOMORROW Saturday, April 13th at noon.  Meet at the Gearhart Volunteer Fire Department. The tour begins with a walk-through of the current station before moving on toward the other two locations.

Rain is in the forecast. You’re welcome to travel by foot or car.

Keep the surveys coming in! April 29th is the deadline. Attending one of the guided tours can help answer questions if you need more information before completing your survey.
